Happy birthday Phylicia. What a wonderful full circle to have taught you as a child and now seeing you and my daughter Erin working together on a project as grown women. This is what a mother lives and dreams for.

What must it have been like for the Angels on September 11

SEPTEMBER 11 ANGELS
Then it happened...causing
an avalanche of sobs,
mountains of screams,
monsoons of tears.
An airplane struck...
Buildings fell
unleashing nations of fears.
The Angels scurried from heavens around
stirred by the horrible rumbling of the ground.
They all stood at attention shoulder to shoulder,
watching the earth as it began to smolder.
They righted their halos and fluffed their wings.
They packed Mercy and Grace and miracles to bring.
This wouldn't get fixed with just any ol' bag of tricks
or some fancy science or new fangled arithmetic.
Each Angel kissed Jesus goodbye on His forehead
scarred from the crown of thorns,
each getting his and her assignment
as harps sounded and Gabriel blew his horn.
Raphael opened heaven's gate and out each Angel flew
zooming quickly to America--they had much work to do...
Holding children's hands and consoling mothers lips
as breath after breath inched away sip by sip.
Big strong men of muscles and wise weaklings too
the Angels rocked, stood guard, laid down beside them to see them through
the anguish, the pain, the dark, the dust, the confusion
as life slipped away and freedom became an illusion.
The Angels became blood splattered, ragged and torn,
Halos were bent, their robes became dingy and worn.
They squeezed in, walked through walls, held heads in their laps,
soothed dying souls in whose arms they were wrapped.
Some held on tight, being brave and
took longer to die than others.
Some chanted forgive me...calling on their freedom of religion Gods,
but all called for their mothers.
The Angels soothed tongues and wiped brows but sometime
they would just sit.
It was a hard job
but somebody had to do it.
Angels now assigned for a life time to a place
A reminder of humanity's heroes and God's Grace
Angels lingering near and hovering low
forever marking a place in America's time
Now called: Ground Zero!

Tomorrow at the RED, WHITE AND BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL I will have my one of a kind heirloom primitive angel dolls for sale. I am proud to be an American and not just on holidays. Will be self publishing soon my SLEEPLESS IN KENTUCY commemorative for September 11--ten years because I will never forget! The festival will be in Perryville, KY from 10-4 at Merchants Row. Stop buy and come give an Angel a hug. We will be honoring our veterans and militatry families. We will also be writing and sending letters. Even if you can't come and wanna send a letter or order an Angel to send contact me at yolanthapace@gmail.com I will be sending letters and Angels all year round, til the last American come home!!! American Proud, yesterday, today and tomorrow!!!
WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU PLANT ALPACA SEEDS? In keeping with the unstopable American entreprenuer spirit, the garden of results is endless. I have been partnering with these beautiful SUNSHINE ALPACAS from Flaggy Meadows Farms in Springfield, Ky. Now I personally see why Michael Jackson found these kinds of animals sooooo adorable. With the change across our nation when it comes to the tobacco industry and its enormouse health risks it seems that some Bluegrass farmers (Shawn and Lori Malloy) are going from "tobacca to alpaca". I will be appearing at numerous venues selling my artwork from the havesting of my "alpaca seeds". Stay tuned yolanthapace@gmail.com

Oh beautiful, for spacious skies for amber waves of grain...it's a hard job, but somebody's got to do it. Imagine how hard the Angels worked on September 11th. They are still standing watch over GROUND ZERO.

Never under estimate the power of a child!!! The effect that people had in my life as a child made me what I am today. Not only the positive input but the negative input. Some of what I am today is purposely created with the intent of WHEN I GROW UP---I DON'T WANT TO BE LIKE...

By any means necessary. It was time to come back to America. This is the method used to get me out of the mountains due to the vast riots over the cholera outbreaks and the riots over the elections.

We can make a difference. The power of one plus another one plus another one!!!
